- Working Duration – 40 – 45 hours weekly
There are three full time and permanent positions for experienced cooks to join our kitchen teams. The roles will attract a wage of between $28.00 and $30.00 per hour depending upon experience and skill. The hours worked each week will be a minimum of 40 hours and a maximum of 45 hours. Accommodation can also be provided at a cost.
Experience and Qualifications
Candidates for these roles should have at least 36 months experience working in a high quality cafe, restaurant, lodge or hotel environment. Formal training in cookery is also preferred but the qualification doesn’t have to be at any particular level.

Roles as a cook
Here is your role as a cook at The Cover Cafe Restaurant and bar:
- Food preparation
- Cooking dishes
- Cleaning
- Maintaining health and safety standards
- Assisting with ordering
